candidbeats is Candice’s sonic emanation, a multi-genre artist and a cultural melting pot who crafts intentional sonic energy exchanges by weaving diverse sounds from jazz, downtempo, organica, tribal tech to indie dance. With groove and funk as her guiding thread, candidbeats blends dreamy and spacey at the same time powerful, trippy tribal elements into her sets, taking audiences on a journey. Her international upbringing, love for traveling and learning about new cultures can be heard through her multicultural sound curation. Having started her DJ journey in Siargao, Philippines, candidbeats continues to explore and share her unique sound with audiences around the world.

candidbeats, also known as Candice, views music as one of her many artistic expressions, believing in its power to heal, express, and foster collective solidarity. With a classical background, her sensibility for music was fine tuned at a young age. Over a year ago, she began exploring electronic music, drawing on her love for diverse cultures to shape her sound. In particular, elements of Afro-Carribean, Latin, Central and South Asia can be heard, while funk and groove is the common thread. candidbeats weaves tribal and hypnotic dreaminess into the groove she loves, crafting sets that are ecclectic, fun and immersive.
